Enhance your daily moods with essential oils

We are affected by many positive and negative moods during our daily lives. Situations change due to outside influences, societal and familial pressures. Everyone feels angry, annoyed, anxious, apathetic, bad, cranky, depressed, envious, frustrated, gloomy, grumpy, guilty, indifferent, irritated, mad, melancholic, pessimistic, rejected, restless, sad, stressed and weird.

  1. Reduce anxiety: Diffuse lavender essential oil around your home to reduce feelings of stress and tension. Great to do this one hour before going to sleep each day. It helps you to unwind.
  2. Spiritual enlightenment: Diffuse frankincense essential oil while praying, meditating or reading to increase spiritual awareness.
  3. Christmas spirit: Bring on the true spirit of Christmas by adding a few drops of pine, sandalwood or cedarwood oil on a fire log about 30 minutes before burning.

Essential oils can help relieve and change many of our negative moods to happier ones like blissful, calm, cheerful, content, dreamy, ecstatic, energetic, excited, flirty, giddy, good, happy, joyful, loving, mellow, optimistic, peaceful, romantic and silly.

You’ve earned it. Live the good life!

What are essential oils?

Essential Oils are the “quintessence” – “the very core,” – “the fifth and highest element in ancient and medieval philosophy that permeates all nature,” oils extracted from plants, herbs, and spices. It is the spirit or life force of the plant itself. Extracting these oils is a complex process – careful handpicking or mechanical harvesting of different parts of plants, mechanized processing of the plant parts, water or steam distillation, where the essential oil derived, is separated from the water.

If you are new to the world of essential oils, welcome, buckle up and learn in stages about the good that natural oils from plants can do to our bodies. The chemical composition of essential oils has a definite, but positive impact on the chemistry of our brains.
