20 Top Household uses of Essential Oils

  1. Wonderful smelling home: Mix a few drops of clove, rosemary and orange essential oils in a diffuser when guests come over, and they will be amazed at how heavenly your home smells. Caution: Be considerate and don’t overdo it as some of your guests (like Seniors) may be sensitive to strong smells.
  2. Wash produce: To clean fruit and vegetables, add two drops of lemon oil and orange oil to a large bowl of water then wash.
  3. Home cleaner: Add six drops each of lemon oil and tea tree oil to a few ounces of warm water, then spray countertops and bathroom tiles to naturally disinfect.
  4. Clean kitchen smell: Add a few drops of clove, cinnamon or citrus essential oil to a simmering pan of water to get rid of cooking odors.
  5. Cleaner, spot-free dishes: Add a few drops of orange oil to your dishwasher each time, before washing for a spot-free rinse.
